Forfexala kiarae
Taxonomy
Forfexala kiarae was named by Béthoux and Herd (2009). Its type specimen is IGP In 190, a wing (Basal fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Piesberg quarry, "Flöz Zweibänke" (Sowiak coll), which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine deltaic claystone in the Flöz Zweibänke Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Forfexala.
