Palaeopsychops marringerae
Taxonomy
Palaeopsychops marringerae was named by Archibald and Makarkin (2006). Its type specimen is SR97-08-05, a forewing (apical 2/3 of forewing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Republic, locality B4131, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Klondike Mountain Formation of Washington.
