Cryptocoelus baissensis
Taxonomy
Cryptocoelus baissensis was named by Alexeev (2011). Its type specimen is PIN 1989/2636, an exoskeleton (complete beetle with part of antennae and without legs), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 1989), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
