Taxonomy
Uskatocoleus eurypygus was named by Ponomarenko (2011). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 5103/270, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Balymotikha, Vyazniki (PIN collection 5103), which is in a Changhsingian pond claystone in the Vyazniki Formation of the Russian Federation.
