Taxonomy
Palademosyne ovum was named by Ponomarenko (2004). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 3700/42, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Novo-Aleksandrovka (PIN collection 3700), which is in a Capitanian terrestrial mudstone in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Pseudochrysomelites ovum by Ponomarenko (2011).
