Glaphyrophlebia speciosa
Taxonomy
Sindon speciosa was named by Sellards (1909) [Neotype, original specimen (Sellards 85) lost]. Its type specimen is MCZ 6303, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, Sellards collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.
It was recombined as Glaphyrophlebia speciosa by Carpenter (1966), Hörnschemeyer and Stapf (2001), Aristov et al. (2022).
