Miocaenacris soergeli
Taxonomy
Miocaenacris soergeli was named by Zeuner (1931). Its type specimen is Wurt. Nat. Bottingen Coll. 45, an exoskeleton, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Böttingen (SMNS collection), which is in a Sarmatian spring travertine in the Thermalsinterkalk Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Miocaenacris.
