Redlichina was named by Lermotova (1940) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Boto-l Cm Tojo Sepkoski's reference number: 462,474]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Redlichinidae by Whittington et al. (1997); and to Redlichiida by Sepkoski (2002).
