Oligolestes grandis
Taxonomy
Lestes grandis was named by Statz (1930). Its type specimen is LACMIP 3090, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Statz Collection), which is in a Chattian lacustrine - small shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Oligolestes grandis by Schmidt (1958), Fischer (1974), Nel and Paicheler (1994).
