Oligoargiolestes oligocenum
Taxonomy
Oligoargiolestes oligocenum was named by Kennedy (1925). Its type specimen is BMNH Brodie coll. 8548, a wing (apical portion), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Brodie coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
