Phenacolestes mirandus
Taxonomy
Phenacolestes mirandus was named by Cockerell (1908). Its type specimen is AMNH 34871, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant, Station 14, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
