Eckfeldia superstes
Taxonomy
Euarchistigma superstes was named by Wappler (2003). Its type specimen is NHMM PE 2000/44a+b, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Eckfeld Maar (NHMN 2000 collection), which is in a MP 13 crater lake siltstone/shale in the Eifel Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Eckfeldia superstes by Petrulevičius et al. (2008).
