Stenodiapha moravica was named by Kukalová-Peck (1974). Its type specimen is DPCU 21/1974, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Obora, southern edge of ravine, which is in an Asselian lacustrine - small shale in the Letovice Formation of the Czech Republic.
