Hadentomum americanum
Taxonomy
Hadentomum americanum was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 35579, a wing (fore- and hindwing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (Daniels collection), which is in a Westphalian D interdistributary bay mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Hadentomum.
