Paragonophlebia inexpectata

Taxonomy
Paragonophlebia inexpectata was named by Nel (2009). Its type specimen is PIN 2784/08, an exoskeleton (thorax with 1 fore & hindwing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Paragonophlebia.
