Orichalcum ornatum
Taxonomy
Orichalcum ornatum was named by Whalley (1985). Its type specimen is BMNH In 53983, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Birchi Nodules, Black Ven, Charmouth, which is in a Turneri marine mudstone/limestone in the Shales with Beef Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Orichalcum.
