Lisaniella was named by Chang (1963) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm uMid Cm Dres Sepkoski's reference number: 459]. It is not extant. Its type is Lisaniella elongata.
It was synonymized subjectively with Redlichaspis by Jell and Adrain (2002).
