Taitzuia was named by Resser and Endo (1935) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm uMid Sepkoski's reference number: 464]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Ordosiidae by Zhang et al. (1980); and to Corynexochida by Sepkoski (2002).
