Protomyrmeleon grasselensis
Taxonomy
Protomyrmeleon (Tillyardagrion) grasselensis was named by Bode (1953). It is an impression. Its type locality is Grassel, Braunschweig, which is in a Toarcian offshore mudstone in the Posidonia Shale Formation of Germany.
It was synonymized subjectively with Protomyrmeleon brunonis by Ansorge (1996); it was recombined as Protomyrmeleon grasselensis by Zessin (1991), Nel and Henrotay (1992), Henrotay et al. (1997).
