Litophlebia optata
Taxonomy
Xenophlebia optata was named by Riek (1976). Its type specimen is C-Dt II 752ab, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bird's River (C-Dt II), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - small shale in the Molteno Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Litophlebia, Xenophlebia.
It was recombined as Litophlebia optata by Hubbard and Riek (1978), Willmann (2007).
