Protomyrmeleon anglicanus
Taxonomy
Protomyrmeleon anglicanus was named by Tillyard (1925). Its type specimen is BMNH I 10662, a wing (distal portion of left wing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Wainlode Cliff (Brodie collection), which is in a Rhaetian marine sandstone in the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Protomyrmeleon (Tillyardagrion) anglicanus by Martynov (1927); it was recombined as Tillyardagrion anglicanus by Zessin (1991).
