Taxonomy
Kamopanorpa lata was named by Martynov (1928). Its type specimen is PIN 2065/79, a forewing (part of forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tikhie Gory (PIN collection 2065), which is in a Roadian lagoonal claystone in the Baitugan Formation of the Russian Federation.
