Taxonomy
Pseudozaphrentoides ordinatus was named by Ross and Ross (1962). Its type specimen is YPM 21777 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YPM 37-12, Glass Mountains, which is in a Gzhelian marine limestone in the Gaptank Formation of Texas.
