It was synonymized subjectively with Caloneuridae by Rasnitsyn (2004); it was reranked as the family Permobiellidae by Martynov (1938), Nel and Roques (2021).
It was assigned to Permoberothidae by Tillyard (1937); and to Caloneurodea by Martynov (1938), Nel and Roques (2021).
