Taxonomy
Tshekardobia maculitincta was named by Novokshonov (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 117/2285, a forewing (well preserved forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Letopala River (PIN collection 117), which is in a Roadian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Iva-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.
