Mastotermes krishnorum

Taxonomy
Mastotermes krishnorum was named by Wappler and Engel (2006). Its type specimen is PE 1997/34a+b-LS, an exoskeleton (complete termite), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Eckfeld Maar (NHMN 1997 collection), which is in a MP 13 crater lake siltstone/shale in the Eifel Formation of Germany.
