Taxonomy
Pseudaphelaspis was named by Lu and Zhu (1980) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Trep-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Pseudaphelaspis langyashanensis.

It was assigned to Pterocephaliidae by Peng (1992); and to Asaphida by Sepkoski (2002).
