Rasnitsynala sigambrorum
Taxonomy
Rasnitsynala sigambrorum was named by Zessin et al. (2011). Its type specimen is WMf.N P27781/N3182B, an exoskeleton (fragmented right wings, head, legs, posterior three segments missing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Hagen-Vorhalle quarry (Westfalisches Landesmuseum collection), which is in a Marsdenian estuary/bay shale/sandstone in Germany. It is the type species of Rasnitsynala.
