Mesoblattina protypa

Taxonomy
Blattina (Mesoblattina) protypa was named by Geinitz (1880). Its type specimen is FGWG 117/1, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Greifswald collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany.

It was recombined as Mesoblattina protypa by Scudder (1886), Geinitz (1888), Handlirsch (1906), Lin (1986) and Vršanský and Ansorge (2007).
