Triarthropsis was named by Ulrich (1931) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Fran-u Cm Trep-u Sepkoski's reference number: 379]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Catillicephalidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Asaphida by Sepkoski (2002).
