Thaumatomma piscifrons
Taxonomy
Thaumatomma piscifrons was named by Kornicker and Sohn (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 168167, a valve (left valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM9261, Episkopi, Hydra Island, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine packstone/wackestone in the Episkopi Formation of Greece.
