Osmylites latus
Taxonomy
Nymphoides latus was named by Panfilov (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 2784/1046, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Nymphoides, Nymphoides.
It was recombined as Osmylites latus by Ponomarenko (2003).
