Macronympha elegans
Taxonomy
Macronympha elegans was named by Panfilov (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 2066/1114, a forewing (well preserved wing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2066), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Macronympha.
