Taxonomy
Acrocephalella was named by Rozova (1963) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Dres-l Sepkoski's reference number: 460]. It is not extant. Its type is Acrocephalella granulosa.

It was assigned to Acrocephalitidae by Rozova (1964); and to Ptychopariida by Sepkoski (2002).
