Parawalleria mongolica
Taxonomy
Parawalleria mongolica was named by Nel et al. (2009). Its type specimen is PIN 3688/273, a forewing (nearly complete forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Houtiyn-Hotgor Depression (outcrop 296/14), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine shale in the Ulaan-Ereg Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Parawalleria.
