Taxonomy
Arctopsychops zherikhini was named by Makarkin (1994). Its type specimen is PIN 1832/135, a forewing (fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Arkagala locality, Tal-Yuryakh Creek (PIN collection 1832), which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Arkagalinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
