Taxonomy
Conularia derwentensis was named by Johnston (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bridgewater limestone (Tasmanian museum), which is in a Kungurian carbonate wackestone in the Berriedale Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Paraconularia derwentensis by Waterhouse (1979), Waterhouse (1986), Parfrey (1988).
