Protrogosita distincta
Taxonomy
Protrogosita distincta was named by Piton and Théobald (1937). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.B47303, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Menat (Piacentini collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France. It is the type species of Protrogosita.
