Taxonomy
Paraconularia kazanensis was named by Weldon and Shi (2003). Its type specimen is MVP310917 and is a mold. Its type locality is Karkali Section, Bed 10, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Kamyshlinskie Formation of the Russian Federation.
