Taxonomy
Cladochonus carrascoi was named by Wilson (1990). Its type specimen is LACMIP 8035 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP 8661, Yaurichambi Section C, Titicaca Lake, which is in an Asselian shallow subtidal limestone in the Copacabana Formation of Bolivia.
