Taxonomy
Waagenophyllum irregulare was named by Wu and Zhao (1983). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wenxing Town, middle Changxing Fm, Beipei County, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
