Taxonomy
Lophophyllidium liangshanense was named by Wu (1957). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Liangshan, middle Wujiaping (coll 3), 3 km SE of Yan'erwo, Hanzhong County, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wujiaping Formation of China.
