Taxonomy
Kingaspis was named by Kobayashi (1935) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Boto-l Cm mMid Sepkoski's reference number: 80,885]. It is not extant. Its type is Anomocare campbelli.

It was assigned to Ellipsocephalidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Ptychopariida by Sepkoski (2002).
