Taxonomy
Kingaspis convexus was named by Palmer and Rowell (1995). Its type specimen is KUMIP 218065 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shackleton Limestone; RP-84-1 collection, which is in a Toyonian open shallow subtidal grainstone in the Shackleton Formation of Antarctica.
