Tachymerobius fugax
Taxonomy
Tachymerobius fugax was named by Ponomarenko (1992). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/6015, an exoskeleton (body (missing head) with right forewing, left hindwing, partial right hindwing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Tachymerobius.
