Itaboravis elaphrocnemoides
Taxonomy
Itaboravis elaphrocnemoides was named by Mayr et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MN 4114−V, a limb element (Left coracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Itaboravis.
