It was synonymized subjectively with Lycocercus by Kukalová (1969), Carpenter (1992).
It was assigned to Patteiskyidae by Demoulin (1958), Laurentiaux (1958); and to Graphiptilidae by Brauckmann et al. (1985), Brauckmann et al. (1996), Brauckmann et al. (2003).
