Kalotermes rhenanus
Taxonomy
Calotermes rhenanus was named by Hagen (1863). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Krantz Bonn coll), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Kalotermes rhenanus by Snyder (1949), Emerson (1969), Nel and Paicheler (1993) and Krishna et al. (2013).
