Pterostichus dormitans
Taxonomy
Pterostichus dormitans was named by Scudder (1890). Its type specimen is Hinde 14503, an elytra (elytron fragment), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lake Erie near Cleveland, which is in a Pleistocene lacustrine deltaic siltstone in Ohio.
