Pterostichus gelidus

Taxonomy
Loxandrus gelidus was named by Scudder (1877). Its type specimen is Hinde 14521, an exoskeleton (parts of broken body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Scarborough Bluffs (Hinde collection), which is in a Pleistocene lacustrine deltaic siltstone in the Scarborough Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Pterostichus gelidus by Scudder (1890), Scudder (1895), Scudder (1900).
